Team Building With the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator
The ability to organize a group of people into a productive team
is a skill crucial to all managers. Competent leaders have insight
into how individuals on their team learn, cope and make decisions
within the workplace. The MBTI is a research-proven instrument
that can help managers understand the gifts and strengths of their
team members.
This training offers a logical and orderly model of human behavior.
Use of the model can reduce unproductive interpersonal and intra-organizational
conflict. Participants in this seminar will take home a new ability
to assess the "fit" between the team member and the
job.
How you will benefit:
• Understand the uniqueness of each member of your team
• Become sensitive to the communication styles of your team
• Increase your team’s effectiveness and productivity
What you will cover:
• The history of the MBTI instrument
• Your individual preferences — how you learn, make
decisions, and cope in the world
• Feedback on your individual type
• Relationships between individual type and creating a proactive
team
