Requirements: Master
Degree
in Social Work with New
York State
Certification. Demonstrated
medical social work experience preferred. LCSW
required. Strong
diagnostic and clinical skills; Bilingual
Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities:
Assist
individuals, families and communities with psychosocial
and environmental stressors, which influence the functioning of these
systems,
and interfere with obtaining maximum benefits from medical care and
other
resources available to them. Participate
in the education of primary care professionals and Social Work students.
Provide diagnostic assessments over mental
health service for patients and their families.

Requirements: Board
Certified in Psychiatry or Psychiatry fellowship in progress. Demonstrated
experience in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated
research experience, preferred. HIV
experience preferred. Bi-lingual,
English/ Spanish
preferred.
Responsibilities: Works as part of
an interdisciplinary team providing direct patient care, consultation
and
supervision in a collaborative effort to identify and treat patients.
Regional Director of
Psychosocial Services
Manhattan Region
Requirements: LCSW or DSW with
Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work from accredited
university. SIFI
or SIFI eligible required. Supervisory
experience in
health
care setting, preferably in multi-site ambulatory care setting
preferred.
Excellent knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence based
treatments for
medical and mental health conditions. Ability to assist less senior
staff with
treatments. Ability to work through brief patient contacts as
well as to
make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral
conditions. Comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an
interdisciplinary team, and have strong communication skills.
Good
knowledge of psychopharmacology & ability to design and implement
clinical
pathways and protocols for treatment of selected chronic conditions.
Good
organizational and interpersonal skills. Basic
knowledge of research, continuous quality improvement excellent
computer skills. Bi-lingual,
Spanish preferred but not
required.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and
treatment of pediatric, adolescent,
adult, geriatric, and dual diagnosed patients/families in a
variety of
out-patient settings. Responsibilities include but is not limited to
diagnostic
assessment, counseling, brief treatment, short term psychotherapy,
behavior
modification, mental health consultation, teaching/ mentoring,
projects/ task
force, in-services / lectures, articles/papers, significant clinical
practice enhancement,
participation in research, and mentoring/ supervising students. Work
collaboratively with members of health care teams throughout the
organization.
