The Institute received a 2007 Davies Public Health Award from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). We've grown. We recently expanded our operations into the Hudson Valley when we acquired the former Mid-Hudson Family Practice Institute. We now employ more than 600 people. Read more in the Ulster County Daily Freeman.

 
     
 

Making Health Equality a Reality
The Institute-led Bronx Health REACH community coalition was recently named a National Center of Excellence in the Elimination of Disparities by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, permitting us to collaborate with organizations throughout New York State and the country.

We provide high-quality health care to underserved populations; sponsor innovative training programs for health professionals; engage in primary care health services research; and participate in health policy development at the national, state, and local levels.

We lead the Bronx Health REACH coalition in working to eliminate racial disparities in health outcomes.
