The Institute for Urban Family Health operates two free clinics for the uninsured in partnership with students from two of New York's premiere medical schools. Students are supervised at all times by senior physicians.
The free clinics are open on Saturday mornings, offering medical care, health education, and social work services for ADULTS. Social workers will enroll children in CHIP (Child Health Plus) and will try to obtain insurance for adults. Make an appointment to see a social worker.
