About Family Medicine

Our family physicians and family nurse practitioners care for people of all ages... from infants to the elderly. This means that everyone in your family can be seen by the same doctor or nurse practitioner.

We give special attention to the effect that family relationships have on your health; and we seek to understand how changes in your personal relationships, job, or community can affect your health.

Our goal is to empower people with the knowledge of how to maintain good health. We do this through health education about preventive methods you can use to keep well, and through health education workshops.

Our family physicians are Board Certified/Board Eligible in the specialty of family medicine.

Our family nurse practitioners treat their own patients. They diagnose and recommend treatment, order tests, and write prescriptions. They consult with physicians and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
