Grand Concourse SDA Church

For more than 35 years, our church has been at the center of efforts to meet many of the social needs of this Bronx community. We recognize that the whole person (spiritually, mentally, and physically) must be addressed. That’s why we operate the largest soup kitchen in South Bronx and sponsor a large health fair annually. We offer many other services as well, but we know that continually raising the awareness of our community about healthy eating and disease prevention is critical. We have a much healthier congregation today, and the surrounding neighborhood is benefiting from the education and resources that we make available almost daily. Bronx Health reach started out as a supporter of our health fair, but they have long since become an active partner in many of our efforts.
