Peter A. Grisafi
Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations/Chief Operating Officer
Peter Grisafi joined the Institute in 2007 as the organization’s first senior vice president for finance and operations and overseeing the Institute’s finance, information systems, human resources, and administration departments. In that role, Mr. Grisafi served as the organizations’ senior financial professional responsible for the fiscal integrity and viability of the organization.
Mr. Grisafi’s role was broadened with his promotion in 2011 to Chief Operating Officer. No longer directly responsible for financial operations, he works alongside the organization’s CFO to help provide leadership to the Institute’s financial planning and management activities. His role expanded into medical operations troubleshooting and resolving challenges in the Institute’s health centers, assuring smooth day-to-day operations. In addition, he oversees the facilities and maintenance department which is also responsible for construction projects at the Institute. Mr. Grisafi provides leadership to the Institute towards readiness related to new programs and locations, and ensures the effectiveness of the organization’s pharmacy discount program for patients. Mr. Grisafi also serves on the Institute’s Board of Directors Finance Committee.
Mr. Grisafi previously served as senior vice president for finance and administration/CFO at Samaritan Village Inc., a non-profit, multi-service addiction recovery center, where he worked for 19 years. Mr. Grisafi has a BBA in public accounting from Baruch College.
